De Paoli Luigi (Cordenons 26.5.1857 - Pordenone 17.7.1947)

sculptor, painter, architect

He attended the “ Scuola di arti e mestieri” Art and Craftsmanship school in Trieste and after the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice.  There are works in many churches in Friuli and also in museums in London, Pordenone and Udine. He was at the World Exhibition in Chicago. The statue of Saint George is his work, a statue that is on the globe, supported by four telamons, of the bell tower of the same church of Pordenone.
