Born
in Bologna in 1875, Julius Casanova, the younger brother of
Achille, after graduating in architecture approaches arts and
crafts, dealing, among other things, with ceramic.
In
1889 he was among the founders of the cooperative society "Aemilia
Ars."
After the end of '"Aemilia Ars" in 1907, Giulio worked with his
brother in the design of ceramics, often made in the factory of
"Minardi Brothers".
He
also deal with glass and wrought iron and continuing his
artistic career as an architect.
He died in Bologna in 1961
